MDS Logistics started off as GBO/MDS (George Bentworth Ollivant/Manufacturers Delivery Services), the merchandising and warehousing division of the then UAC.
MDS was established in 1965 to provide Warehousing services for UAC and its associated companies. MDS operated mainly as a 'Department' within the GBO/MDS division and its service offerings were limited to warehousing.
In the year 2000, UACN Plc liquidated the GBO arm of GBO/MDS division, whilst MDS was retained as a seperate entity.
