Jouad is a high-achieving, results-driven, qualified finance professional. He has over 16 years’ experience in finance, banking, audit, risk management and financial planning. With a focus on logistics, connecting Africa to the world, he has been involved in multiple projects across the continent.

He was appointed as Finance Director at MDS Logistics with effect from 22nd February 2022. Prior to this appointment, Jaouad was Finance Director for Medlog Nigeria with overall responsibility for the company’s finance function.

Jaouad began his career in Internal Audit at BNP Paribas in Bahrain covering the Middle East Region, before taking charge of the Nordic region. He then joined Maersk Line in Copenhagen as Risk Advisor before being appointed as CFO in Madagascar then Finance Director for the full Southern Africa Area.

Jaouad holds B.Sc. degree in Economics and a M.Sc. degree in Finance from Sorbonne University in France. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
